These services can be delivered by our Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians, and Social Workers. Services can be delivered either in home, in our clinic or via Telehealth.

  • Have recently undergone surgery
  • Have suffered a recent accident or injury
  • Are experiencing long-standing effects of an accident or injury
  • Have a newly diagnosed condition
  • Are living with a chronic health condition
  • Have a progressive illness

The aim of rehabilitation services is to maximise independence, assist recovery, or to manage an existing condition. SSRG rehabilitation services aim to put you back in control of your health by providing education, advice and support on how to best manage your condition and assist you to be as independent, strong and healthy as possible.

Rehabilitation is a collaborative process between you and your therapist. Before commencing, your SSRG therapist will work with you to establish which outcomes are important to you, and to set meaningful goals. These goals are guided by a SMART framework:

S – Specific

M – Measurable

A – Achievable

R – Realistic

T – Timely

As a general community Allied Health private practice, SSRG provides rehabilitation services for a range of conditions, with the aim of helping you reengage with important everyday activities including:

  • Mobility and transfers
  • Daily personal care activities
  • Household tasks that you want to do independently
  • Community activities
  • Leisure and hobbies

Rehabilitation programs can be short term or long term and can take days to weeks depending on your goals. As the client, you decide on the frequency of services and the service types that will best meet your requirements.
