While many cardiorespiratory conditions require a great deal of medical input, most also respond quite well to management through physiotherapy. Our therapists understand the cardiorespiratory system and how it affects your ability to participate in normal daily activities, exercise, and accessing the community. Physiotherapists assess your physical condition, with consideration of your diagnosed cardiorespiratory condition, and provide you with appropriate exercises to maintain or improve lung function, maintain or improve general exercise capacity, and provide education on various breathing and secretion clearance techniques.
