Areas of Expertise

• Neurological Rehabilitation: including communication and swallowing intervention for acquired brain injuries such as traumatic brain injury and stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron disease, Huntington’s Disease, and other rare neurological conditions
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ACC): including assessment, scripting, and implementation of high and low tech AAC to support daily communication needs.
• Dysphagia Management: including assessment, safe swallowing and modified diet and fluid recommendations, swallow rehabilitation and development of mealtime management plans

Approach to Therapy

I endeavour to always take a holistic, functional and innovative approach when supporting my clients. I am especially passionate about working with individuals to improve their communication to meet their everyday needs and engage in activities they enjoy.

Outside the Clinic

When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying the beach or going for a walk and trying out a new local food spot. I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance to recharge and provide quality care to my clients.
