Zach Bastien

I am a motivated and friendly Physiotherapist with a compassionate approach aimed at helping improve the lives of his clients through exercise.

I enjoy working with my clients to help maintain a high level of independence, and to enhance their quality of life.

  • General Rehabilitation: including interventions and manual therapy for clients who are active in the community, who wish to maintain their level of independence, and prevent decline in mobility and balance
  • Musculoskeletal Treatment: including treatment for acute or chronic injuries sustained to the musculoskeletal system involving education and manual therapy
  • Neurological Rehabilitation: including interventions for acquired brain injuries such as Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, Huntington’s Disease, and other rare neurological conditions

My approach to therapy is to provide an enjoyable evidence-based rehabilitation program that will keep clients entertained and motivated to improve their function. I am committed to working with clients to provide functional exercises that have direct correlation to their interests and goals.

Outside the clinic you can find me keeping active in one way or another whether that be through the gym, playing sports like volleyball or soccer or going on a hike in the hinterland. I believe that maintaining my physical health enables me to stay inspired and be the best therapist I can be.
